Now I am supposed to share a few things about myself.

1. Starbucks cannot spell my name for anything. I have gotten Maghew and McAgen written on my cup and I am not even kidding. lol

2. I have a 5mo old son named Xander and he is too cute for words.

3. I was born in NW Ohio, raised in Memphis TN, went to college in NW Ohio at BGSU, got my first teaching job in Topeka, KS, and now I am living in Hawaii. I have moved so much you would have thought I was an Army brat, but really my move to Hawaii is my first military move lol.

4. I am Wiccan. It is an Earth religion. It is NOT devil worshiping. :)

And now to pass on the award to someone else.

I think I have to pass on this award to my bestie Noel because she just all around rocks. I don't really follow any more blogs regularly so I only have one person to pass this on to.

Wow I am slacking

I know, I know, I am the world's worst blogger. However, I have a good reason. I am taking care of and raising my perfect little boy. So lets see what is new in my life. We finally finished the bench at the end of the bed and the end table refinishing. We are working on putting in a new flowerbed in the back yard. I got a job! I am an after school nanny for 2 little boys. It is paying $200 a week and now I feel like I am contributing to the household again. Brian will be deploying to Afghanistan in a few months so the company is gearing up and doing lots of training. Brian and I are trying to make the most of what little time we have left together. Xander is getting bigger by the minute. He is rolling quite easily now. He is getting close to sitting up on his own. We are going to try to start solids next week. His fine motor skills are coming along nicely and he can reach for an grasp big items now. I think that is all the time I have. I hope I will be able to post again sometime soon during another morning nap.

New smart phone

Brian and I finally broke down and got new phones. We had beat the old Lotuses to hell and back. We both got the Samsung Replenish and we LOVE them! They have a built in keyboard and a touch screen. They are easy to use and durable. The only 2 dislikes are battery life and the camera doesn't have the megapixels to scan barcodes. But that is nothing a little typing and car charger can't fix. I in fact am typing this entry from my phone very easily. :)

New Design

So I decided my Blog needed a new design. Something to kinda spruce it up a bit. Let me know what you think.

Nerdy awwwwww

My parents came to visit!

They were here in Hawaii for 2 weeks mostly to see Xander and partially to be tourists. I had so much fun with them. They absolutely loved Xander. They were so supportive of me and how Xander was doing. And, the best part is they took tons of pictures.

Oh and compared to our first family picture with Xander in April, you can totally tell I've already lost close to 30 lbs. :D
